Dareton Sewer Rationalisation Project 2019
waterex • November 15, 2019
This is our new waste recycling washplant for the recovery of sand and aggregates which has formely been a bi-product of our concrete recycling process. Very excited to see this in operation after well over two years of planning. This will not only divert industrial waste from landfill but also provide the local area with more sand choices, which are currently in short supply. This plan produces 5 products: 0-2mm sand 2-4mm sand 4-10mm aggregate 10-16mm aggregate 16mm – oversize (mostly 20-25mm) All the above products are washed and ready for use.
Construction of 300m of 2100mm RCP pipe including 5 access chambers from 4m deep to 6m deep including crossing 16th St and a 9m bore under three major services. See video below and more still images in our gallery of the project.
